Climbing FactFiles...

Welcome to the Climbing FactFiles, a unique source of free-to-view and free-to-download online fact files which give essential information about many of the best routes, problems and crags around the UK, Europe and beyond. A Climbing FactFile is written for, and supports, each month of the Climbing Calendars and contains categorised information about the crag, the featured route or problem, the gear needed as well as other ‘must-do’ routes, alternative routes and crags in the area and rest day activities. There is also a run-down of how to get to the location featured, the best time to visit, where to stay and shop, which guide to use.

Each Climbing FactFile can be viewed on-line as a web page or as a .pdf file. These documents can be downloaded and saved to your personal computer and can be printed out as essential reference if you prefer. To view these .pdf documents you will need a .pdf file reader program. You can obtain one for free by visiting www.adobe.com or by searching the internet for other free software.

The factfiles have been grouped together to enable you to find the information you want. Click on the category you are interested in from the list in the middle panel of this page and you will then see details of the factfiles etc etc ...
