Climbing : 2010 - Rock Climbing Calendar

Climbing : 2010, the sixth rock climbing calendar published by Keith Sharples Photography, stays true to it's long-standing core values and is both unashamedly UK-centric AND eclectic.

Capturing the very essence of the home-grown climbing action is the UKC's very own Jack Gelderd who appears on the front cover and for January 2010 whilst going ground-up on the North Burbage test-piece, The Promise (E9 6c). Further action from the Pennine arena comes from The Bridstones, Kilnsey, Central Buttress - Water-cum-Jolly and The Cube (Roaches). Farther afield, there are images from Clwyd Limestone, High Rocks and Gallt yr Ogof.

Overseas action comes from L' Elephant (Fontainebleau, France), Barenschluchtwande (Frankenjura, Germany), Massone (Arco, Italy), Sierre de Montsant (Costa Daurada, Spain) and Grandmother Boulders (Appalachian Mountains, USA).

Included with Climbing : 2010, is the 2010 Year Planner/Poster. Printed back-to-back, you can choose between organisation or inspiration. The 2010 Year Planner features Neil Gresham on Nemesis (6b) at High Rocks. On the flip side is the 2010 Poster, which features Steve McClure cranking out Heart of Stone (E7 6c) at Gallt yr Ogof.

Supporting Climbing: 2010 are the free-to-view and free-to-download Climbing FactFiles. These are posted exclusively on this website throughout the year and are full of essential info on the featured climbs and crags, alternative route/crag suggestions as well as tips on when-to-go, where-to-stay, where-to-shop and which guides to use.
